The Exact Location: Irokawa Space Centre
To find the HZN-VI Rocket, head straight to the southernmost point of the Japan open-world map. The landmark is located inside the Irokawa Space Centre, a large coastal complex built right along the shoreline.
Once you get close, you can’t really miss it. The area opens up into wide industrial grounds, and the rocket stands out immediately against the sky. It’s part of a full launch facility, so the surroundings include launch infrastructure, support buildings, and wide access roads that make it easy to drive through.
If you’re using the map for guidance, just keep moving toward the bottom edge of the region until the terrain flattens into the coastal installation. The Space Centre occupies a big footprint, so it’s clearly visible even before you reach it.

What the HZN-VI Rocket Looks Like In-Game
The HZN-VI Rocket itself is massive and fully vertical on its launchpad. It’s designed like a real-world space rocket: tall, industrial, and extremely detailed when you get close.
One of the best parts about this location is that it isn’t just a background prop. You can actually drive right up to the base of the rocket. The launchpad area is open enough that players can circle around it, park underneath parts of the structure, and take close-up shots from different angles.
If you like exploring environmental details in racing games, this is one of those spots where it’s worth slowing down instead of speeding past.

A Photo Spot for the “Discover Japan” Collection
The HZN-VI Rocket isn’t just there for scenery—it’s also part of the game’s exploration content. It counts as one of the 26 landmark photography locations needed for the “Discover Japan” collection.
To complete it, all you need to do is pull out your in-game camera and take a photo with your car positioned near the rocket. Once the shot is registered, the landmark is marked as discovered.
Many players end up coming here later in their playthrough when they’re cleaning up exploration progress, but it’s actually worth visiting early if you enjoy sightseeing or want to unlock all the photo-based rewards as you go.
The open layout of the launch site makes it easy to frame your car against the rocket, whether you want a wide cinematic shot or something closer and more detailed.

How to Approach the Location
There’s no special requirement to access the Space Centre. You can simply drive in from the surrounding roads. As you approach from the north or inland areas, the environment gradually shifts from normal open terrain into industrial coastal infrastructure.
Once you enter the facility, the rocket becomes visible almost immediately. The roads inside are wide and smooth, making it easy to navigate even in faster cars, though you’ll probably want to slow down once you reach the main launchpad area to explore properly.
If you’re the type of player who likes collecting map locations, this is one of the more straightforward landmarks to reach compared to some of the hidden mountain or city-based spots.

Watching a quick clip can help you recognize the terrain changes leading into the Space Centre, especially if you’re still learning the Japan map layout.
The HZN-VI Rocket is one of those landmarks that stands out not just because of its size, but because of its placement. Sitting at the edge of the map inside the Irokawa Space Centre, it feels isolated in a way that makes the discovery more memorable.
